Here is a variation on the installation of the X4. One of the issues everyone has is how to get the X4 installed comfortably with maximum extension. This is how I install the X4. I begin the installation with a total length that does not require stretching the penis to the max. This allows you to get the head secured comfortably in the penis support before applying high tension.
1. Attach the base + enough bars to go just beyond flaccid length
2. Turn the screws on both sides up to where threads appear
3. Unscrew right side at the top of base bar, extended length held in place by left side
4. Hold X4 with left hand, with right hand screw base bar fully back down to the base
5. Screw another 0.5" or 1" bar into the top of the open right base bar
6. Screw the top of 0.5" or 1" bar into open end of the right bottom bar of the support
7. Disconnect the extended base bar on the left side
8. Screw the left base bar fully back down to the base
9. Screw another 0.5" or 1" bar into the top of the open left base bar
10. Screw the top of 0.5" or 1" bar into open end of the left bottom bar of the support
11. Repeat steps 2-10 adding additional bars up to desired max level
12. Time can be added between bar additions to allow the penis to adjust to the stretch

I just seen u'r post and found it interesting, I myself just a couple of days ago stumbled onto this same procedure and tried it just like u said and found it works great. When I logged on and seen u'r post this morning and not having had seeing it before I tried strapping up the last couple of days ; it just about flipped me out. It's amazing how much more u can stretch with just a little time between going from one side to the other by adding just one bar at a time.

What I also found works best for me in keeping it from slipping off over the head is;
*first pull the skin all the way back as much as u can;
*then take the wrap starting at the head and wrapping a couple of times snuggly around
just a little part of the head and shaft ( not tight )--( but snug ),
*then wrap down the shaft a couple of times still only keeping it snug.
*then come back up around the head a couple of more times,
*and ending the last couple of rounds a little firmer around the top of the shaft next to
the head creating a more naturally defined shape of the penis; to help hold the strap
and give it a better grip
