ring of tissue forming below head of penis

Postby mrmia7 » Sat Sep 23, 2006 5:40 am

I have been wearing the device for about a month now and have noticed some gains but was wondering if it is normal to get a ring of, for lack of a better description, what seems to hard cartilage like tissue beneath the head of the penis? Any help, infomration or advice would be appreciated. I am not sure if maybe I am wearing the device wrong and this is what is causing this tissue to form.

Well as I understand it the Extender is supposed to stretch the suspensory ligament. What I have noticed though and I am not sure if I am correct is that it seems that from the few weeks of use it seems as though the skin and tissue below the head of my penis is being stretched and the tissue that is forming seems almost cartilage or scar tissue like in nature. I am not sure if this description helps

Hi, I have been wearing my extender for about 6-7 weeks now. The first 4 weeks I seen some noticeable gains on my length and girth when flaccid. At the end or the 4th week I to noticed some thick tissue just below the head of my penis on the top side and the skin between the thick tissue and the head looked very thin.
By the time I had noticed it the skin tore in 2 little places like I had rubbed myself raw from masturbating. I stopped using my extender for several days, and then strapped back up. and this still keeps on happening, So this last time I have taken it off for about 5-6 days now and I have lost the noticeable gains that I had gotten in the first 4 weeks.
I was wearing the extender for 10-12 hrs. a day 5-6 days a week for the first 4 weeks until this problem began. I suppose I was just trying to hard and to fast to quack. I have read in the forum the post from mrmia7 and Kevin Lew form back in August and Septembere '06.
Does any one have any suggestions for me.

I had the same problem with the callus tissue buildup behind the head/glans of the penis. I partially solved the problem by using a simple plastic/latex bandaid to add some additional padding/support. I can now wear the extender with more comfort and the build up of tissue is less, although still there. You might have to modify the bandaid a little by cutting the ends of the stip to shorten them.

Thank u Thinker for your reply. I will try the plastic/latex bandaid. Did u expreience any tearing around the time u niticed the thick tissue, if so how long did it take to heal, and did u loose any gains from taking any tome off for healing.

Hi Guess,
You will lose the callus after awhile. If there has been a tear, i.e., open wound at the callus point, it will heal and close. You will have to take your time and go easy until it heals (closes). Going through this process is what led me to discover the bandaid solution. As for your other question, the answer is no. You will not lose any gains. You might think that you lose gains if you stop for a few days because there is a small amount of inflammation while you are stretching. I have been using the extender since last October 1st and have had gains of 1 and 1/2 inches (4.25 to 5.75 inches) I fully expect to hit my target of 6 inches by end of September. There has been a gain in girth as well, but I did not measure in the beginning so I have no figures. I had to take the month of Feb off and had a few 2 to 3 day hiatuses. I'm quite happy so far. Success is psychological at times. You may think that you haven't gained a thing on some days. On other days you wake up thinking it grew overnight. But the gain is relatively steady and you can count on it. My daily average is ranging 5.45 hours as at end of June. I hope you find this helpful.

Hi thinker,
Thanks for the info. It sure is good to be able to learn form someone who has "been there and done that." I suppose that I do show some gains while flaccid. I'm not really sure if it's gains in girth or if it has just stretched the skin. I use to didn't have any problems with foreskin covering any of the head; but now I do.
I guess now for about 1 and 1/2 to 2 years now before I got my Extender; I came across the stretching and jeqling exercises and begin to do the exercises when I could. However the exercises are quite intense and requires a lot of individual attention; attention that I could not devote to it, like as was recommended, at that point I did on occasional notice the foreskin coming over the head a little bit; just a little bit. And now, after using my Extender for about 5 or 6 weeks before the problem begin; the foreskin comes down and covers over 1/2 to 3/4 of the head when I and totally flaccid; weather it is drawn up to as short as it get or if it is relaxed and hanging down an extra inch or two, since using my Extender. I am 6" erect and girth is 5 and 1/2" and around 3 " when flaccid and the girth is 4 to 4 and 1/4", and when I am very relaxed and comfortable I hang flaccid at about 4 to 5" and girth 4". I am not sure that I am measuring correctly.
Question ? Do you press all the way down to the pubic bone or down to just the skin, at the surface, just touching the skin..

Hi Guess,
Glad I could help out. As for the "foreskin", if you have been circumcised, you don't have a foreskin. What is likely is that the skin of the penis has stretched to a greater "length" than you need under normal conditions, so it sort of hangs forward a little more than you need. The skin on your body is the most flexible of all the organs (yes, it is an organ), so it stretches quite easily The corpora cavernosa and corpus spongiosum, along with the blood vessels, don't stretch as easily, which leaves you temporarily with more "foreskin" than you need. Not to worry, it won't interfere with an erection or take away from its "beauty."

I would forget about the other programs. They just don't work, in my opinion and I have tried them all. I pumped for years with no permanent results. I jelqued for a few years with no results there either. Wait, wait, the jelquing will produce a small/short result because it actually pulls the suspensory ligament away from the body. This is usually the procedure if you have surgery for penis enlargement/lengthening. So I gained maybe one half inch there but no girth.

As for measuring, I measure from the top and press the ruler to the pucic symphasis (top of the pubic bone). How you measure doesn't really matter as long as you are consistent with your measuring. It's all relevant. What's important is the differences you are able to record from one period to the next. Good luck!

Hi Thinker,
Thanks for u'r info. It is nice to be able to communicate with other real people with experience and the knowledge of the fact from first hand and not just going on an advertisement of a product, It's easy to advertise; but having the first hand experience behind the product; is the icing on the cake.
Thanks again Thinker for u'r help
