Noose retaining method

Postby modem » Tue Jun 15, 2010 8:23 pm

It seams that, like me so many out there are having trouble with the noose detaching from it's retaining clips.
I would like to suggest that x4labs remodel their plasic cradle by incorporating two 1/2inch long tubes in the place of the existing idea.
These tubes to be part of the plastic moulding, and are slightly smaller than the dia. of the noose. Each of these tubes to be slotted to, again, be slightly smaller than the noose dia.so that when the extender has been mounted, it would just be a matter of depressing the silicon tubes into the slots, and i would guarantee the noose will not move nohow.
I have already tested this with a model of the above and it works great -- q-u-i-c-k and easy to use------- soooo come on x4lads. you have access to the factory --- do this as a retro fit and i will buy it as an extra.
I know that writting these things is not always easy to understand. being an engineer i would prefer to explain in drawing form. X4labs, you have my contact email should you want to pursue the idea further.

It's been a little over a month now , since i sent a letter with acompanying photo's of a noose retaining method to x4labs, as described in my previous post, but i have still to receive a comment let alone a reply.
Does anybody know how to get a response, as they do say they want to here from us should we have any suggestions etc.
None the less -- the model i built of the head mould i continue to use,to replace the one supplied by x4lab, as it retains the noose without any sine of loosening, is faster to use, and is made off polyester fibreglass.
Shame i can't get this out to you guys who are having trouble with there's

Yes it is a shame that you have gotten no response from the company, makes you think why they even ask for our input if the suggestions that they ask for go unanswered.

ferrari_85 Thanks for your comments, i really don't understand x4labs non reaction to my suggested modifications. One would think that it either did not reach the right person, or maybe they are just not interested, either way, some acknowledgement, would have been appreciated, and after all it is free knowledge and could help them in their marketing programme to bolster sales, and more importantly help you guys out there, after all is a big enough problem trying to use the extender without the hassels that go with it, given our differing life styles, so that anything that makes it easyer can only help, and guys don't mind using. In fact, makes things more pleasant if it is easyer to use. This leads to great comment and this in turn leads to great sales.
None the less i continue to use my extender with the modified head piece and i have thrown out the origonal head piece. I continue to use the noose without wrap and the noose retaining method works just fine.
Cheers everybody, and good luck to all.
