I am interested in getting an extender but I don't know when I will be able to wear it. Does it Fit comfortably under your pants? Also my job has a metal detector at the door so I think that is ruled out. Is wearing it while you sleep enough?

well first, I agree, don't wear it through a metal detector. That would prove to be a disaster. As far as wearing it under your pants, some people do. I do under loose sweats when at home, and no one can tell. Dockers, maybe ok, but siting down etc. takes some practice.

I wear mine at night when I go to bed for about 1 to 2 hours. I usually wake up when it get's uncomfortable, and take it off. But then wake up early and get another hour in. It's different for everyone, but that's my story. I am currently not working, so also get in some time durring the day.

If you have a desk job, maybe take it in in a brief case. disasemble, keep the plastic in your pocket or whatever, and rodes next to your pens. Assemble at work and wear with dockers, etc. at your desk. It's doable.
