Hey anyone else getting a permanent purple discoloration around the edge of the gland??? just wondering what I should do... doesnt hurt or anything... just a different color!

I can't recall if I had that discoloration from using the extender, but I do get that when I use a penis pump. If I quit pumping for a few days, it usually clears up and by the end of the week its completely gone. It may be due to strapping in too tight and ballooning/swelling the glans for too long a period of time plus the continued pull of the extender forcing some blood leakage from the small capillaries. The small amount of blood stays in the tissues and appears permanent (it isn't) as long as you don't give it enough time to clear up. I don't know what the long term effects are, but I'd take some time off of the extender to let it clear up.

No, I haven't gotten a purpse discoloration around the edge of the gland. Perhaps seeing a urologist will help.
