Foreskin Restoration Treatments
This process is conducted either through a surgical or non-surgical procedure and involves recreating the natural foreskin which covers the penile glands. There are a variety of reasons in which a male may undertake such a procedure but are typically undertaken by men who have been circumcised. It is also used by men who have not been circumcised in order to extend the length of the foreskin.
Non-Surgical Techniques for Foreskin Restoration
Foreskin restoration is accomplished through non-surgical means through tissue expansion. Any remaining skin of the penile shaft after circumcision can be expanded and stretched. Tension is applied either through the use of weights, penis extenders, or through a specially designed tape. Penis extenders have been used by stretching solely the skin of the penis. T-Tape uses a similar method by stretching and holding the existing foreskin over the penile gland. These non-surgical methods do provide sufficient results however; they can successfully restore a significant amount of foreskin.
Emotional and Psychological Aspects of Foreskin Restoration
This form of procedure has shown to have significant emotional results in men. It has now become suggested treatment to men suffering from psychological issues pertaining to circumcision during infancy. Given the diverse effects associated with psychological and emotional deficiencies, it is important that men suffering from such a condition be treated either via non-surgical or surgical methods.
