Peyronie's Treatment
Peyronie's Treatment : First reported by a French surgeon Francois de la Peyronie in 1743, the origins of Peyronie’s disease still remain unknown. It is widely accepted, however, that it is due to a small scar or injury that forms inside of the penis, which gradually transforms into a hard lump, or plaque. In some cases, symptoms may appear overnight, while in others it may take several months. In extreme cases, the swelling causes pain, forcing the penis to curve during erection. Consequently, the penis becomes sore, making any type of sexual activity unpleasant. The disease can occur to any man at any age, although it only affects about 1% of men in North America.
